REVIEW: Tron: Legacy Soundtrack

The Tron Legacy Soundtrack far surpasses the movie in its ability to wow, and please.

Tron: Legacy the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

Artist: Daft Punk
Label: Walt Disney Records
Tracks: 22
Length: 58 minutes
Digital Price: 5.99

Daft Punk, the French electronica duo has wowed everyone with their catchy music and crazy light shows and now have a soundtrack on their resume. It also doesn’t hurt that its awesome.

The soundtrack is a mix between straight up electronica and more soundtrack standard strings and horns which works surprisingly well. The tracks alternate from low impact background tunes to pulsing fast music reminiscent of their other works. Occasionally the strings of the London Orchestra and Daft Punk’s sound mix creating a really awesome sounding blend.

The highlights for me are as follows: The son of Flynn, End of Line, Derezzed(music video below), Fall, and the End Titles are amazing as well.

The booklet that comes with it is really nice as well, it is made of nice thick paper(unless you go digital of course) and holds nice crisp images from the movie.

This soundtrack has everything you could want, really awesome music that is sure to please Daft Punk fans as well as fans of soundtracks.
